Rock Drill Operator

Job Description

An immediate vacancy exists for a skilled rock drill operator at our mechanised underground gold mine in Mazowe. You will operate pneumatic and hydraulic rock drills for development and stoping. Strict adherence to the drill-and-blast cycle timing is required. You must be physically fit and comfortable working at depths of up to 120 metres. Training on our specific equipment will be provided.

Requirements

• ▸2+ years rock drilling experience
• ▸Medical fitness certificate
• ▸Basic blasting awareness
• ▸Ability to read stope plans
