Shaft Sinker

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced shaft sinker to lead our underground development programme at our Bulawayo gold operation. The successful candidate will manage a team of 12 and be responsible for sinking a new vertical shaft to 120 metres. You will ensure compliance with all Mines and Minerals Act safety regulations, manage ground support installation, and maintain daily advance rates. Previous experience on Zimbabwean underground gold operations is essential.

Requirements

• ▸Blasting licence (valid)
• ▸5+ years shaft sinking experience
• ▸First Aid Level 2 certificate
• ▸Knowledge of Zimbabwean mining regulations
